Hi Claire – I think the Jorge Luis Borges is my library of would like! I’ve never really used libraries … but I’ve read a fair amount … our library was 5 miles away; we had two libraries at school – a reference one, and a general one … then I don’t think I ever went to a library in South Africa … and I’ve hardly used the library here – on occasions I do. We always had books at home and the first things I bought were reference books when I left home … and now I still have books (including some of the early ones, and my mother’s even earlier ones) … but I use this thing! Live and learn … one day I shall read a lot … love these quotes though – cheers Hilary

HAH! Hilary, just read that you lived in S.Africa at some point, Hilary. Where were you? I’m in Port Elizabeth (now) but I’ve lived in a number of different cities.
Claire, thanks for this. I used to live at the library whenever I had the time, but I admit I don’t go as often now that I have the Internet available and a Kindle. I still go about once a month to pick up half a dozen novels for the next few weeks.

I received the last one in the postcard-form (techincally, the page of a calendar).

I was like Beverly Cleary 🙂
Except that I wanted to read the entire library!
Doing great, Claire with the challenge/
