Hi Friends,
I hope you are all well and finding ways to enjoy your summer while staying safe.
I began blogging a number of years ago because I wanted to share kid lit books, places, and books that take you places. We certainly need to travel by book these days!
Over the years I have followed and learned from other bloggers and have found it fun and rewarding to connect with them on a personal level. One of my favorites is Rebecca Eisenberg’s Language During Mealtime. Becca is a Speech Language Pathologist as well as an author of magazine articles and children’s books. She is passionate about children’s literature which she uses to inspire parents, teachers, and care givers to create language-rich communities for children.
She also has a podcast where she interviews children’s book authors, publishers, and experts in the field of literacy. I was honored to join her this month to talk about my new picture book,
EVIE’S FIELD DAY, More Than One Way to Win.
Enjoy!
