I must admit, I am a bit of a bag lady. I have quite a collection and always seem to find a new bag to take along. I have tote bags, book bags, over the shoulder bags and back packs. There’s a just right bag for every trip. I tend to carry too much “just in case.” Like a good girl scout, I am always prepared. I am currently using a darling French market basket which makes me feel so chic. Here’s what I am toting:
Reading glasses and sun glasses
stationary, stamps and my favorite pen (I love to write and receive letters)
a handkerchief (this one is from Liberty of London)
Lip gloss (by Sugar in Rose – the best!)
My book club selection – Wonder by R. J. Palacio -Needs to be finished tomorrow
Brochures from recent field trips
A magazine, water bottle, car keys, calendar, phone, driver’s license, library card and a photo of my family.
How about you – what’s in your bag?
I love the girl guide reference! I carry the same tote bag around with me every wear. It’s a little beat up, but I love it. I usually carry my laptop and a sketchbook.
Hey, I’m the French woman here, so bags are my things. I love that you carry a book and everything you need to write. And the French market basket of course.
I prefer bags to purses only because I can carry more in a bag. In my bag you’ll always find a book, a notebook, several pens and pencils, a phone, a wallet, a tiny one for coins, a lipstick and some hand cream. And very often my MacBook Air.
Cannot wait to read about letter C.
Oh, and don’t forget the fresh flowers!
Well, my bag always has a book or two (just in case I happen to finish one before I get home!
Chocolate, my ipod (I have to listen to be able to listen to music at all times), keys, passport (you just never know)!! And maybe a list or two of places I have to go find, be it a bookshop or a new restaurant!
I loved your post!!
My bag usually has – lip gloss, a novel, pen, post it notes, tissue, hand held mirror, prayer beads… yeah that’s about the paraphernalia.
I loved your blog theme – It has a very happy vibe, sunshine feeling to it !
Hi Shahira,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I just stopped by yours – your theme is so interesting! I am going to visit daily and learn a new word with arabic roots. Especially enjoyed your J post. Who doesn’t love the scent of jasmine?
