Book News – Nancy Bess Had a Dress Cover Reveal!
The cover reveal for NANCY BESS HAD A DRESS is finally here! This sweet book is illustrated by creative artist Angela C. Hawkins, written by me, and published by Gnome Road Publishing. Isn’t it wonderful? This is an exciting part of the book journey for authors and illustrators.
I have always been fascinated by the resourcefulness of women and children during tough times. My grandmother had amazing stories, which became the basis for my latest picture book. I love the bright and intricate illustrations with a surprise on each page. The cover reveal is a teaser, and I can’t wait to share the whole book with you.
NANCY BESS HAD A DRESS will be released on March 19, 2024, but is available for preorder through Bookshop.org and Amazon.com.

Thanks Rebecca for all your suggestions as I was researching. Do you happen to have any of your grandmother’s quilts?

My mother-in-law makes quilts when she’s still around and her quilts always remind us of her kindness, generosity, and love for one another. This book will surely be a part of many households. Congrats!
